    Mendoza es un claro ejemplo de lo que el ser humano es capaz de hacer a través del esfuerzo y trabajo continuo, de cómo es posible transformar un desierto en un territorio con un alto nivel productivo, esa es la ejemplar historia de nuestro lugar. Así como nuestros ancestros supieron aprovechar todas las ventajas que la revolución industrial ofrecía, hoy debemos aprovechar las enormes ventajas que nos ofrece la revolución digital y cambio de paradigma que ella provoca. El conocimiento siempre fue un factor importante en el desarrollo de la humanidad y en estas décadas ha tomado un mayor papel protagónico a punto tal que es común hablar de Sociedad del Conocimiento, un nuevo modelo de sociedad en el cual el Conocimiento es el principal activo que poseen las personas, las organizaciones y los países, a tal punto que hoy podemos decir que el conocimiento reemplaza el lugar que ha ocupado por mucho tiempo el capital financiero.

    Si se comparte esta visión es fácil entender la importancia que tiene la gestión del conocimiento en todos los niveles de la sociedad. Las diferentes organizaciones, sean públicas o privadas deben cuidar este importante activo sea tácito o explícito, formal o informal ya que ello está íntimamente vinculado a sus niveles de eficiencia, eficacia y competitividad. En realidad la vigilancia no sólo se limita a los avances tecnológicos, sino a todos aquellos factores o elementos que hacen a mejorar la competitividad de las organizaciones, es decir todo lo referente a competidores, productos sustitutivos, mercados locales, nacionales e internacionales, recursos humanos en el medio, las tecnologías emergentes disponibles, avances científicos y tecnológicos, normativas y leyes vigentes, disposiciones medioambientales, etc.

    El trabajo comienza determinando cual es la situación actual en el País y en especial en la Provincia de Mendoza, particularmente en cuanto a la existencia y crecimiento del mundo empresarial MiPyme se refiere, las consecuencias previsibles de tal situación si no logra  revertirse y la enorme oportunidad que hoy se dispone a través del ingreso en la revolución digital y cambio de paradigma que hoy existe a nivel mundial.

     Mendoza is a clear example of what the human being is capable of doing through the effort and continuous work, of how it is possible to transform a desert into a territory with a high productive level, that is the exemplary history of our place. Just as our ancestors knew how to take advantage of all the advantages that the industrial revolution offered, today we must take advantage of the enormous advantages offered by the digital revolution and the paradigm shift that it provokes. Knowledge has always been an important factor in the development of humanity and in these decades has taken a greater leading role to the point that it is common to speak of Knowledge Society, a new model of society in which Knowledge is the main asset that they possess the people, the organizations and the countries, to such an extent that today we can say that knowledge replaces the place that financial capital has occupied for a long time. If this vision is shared, it is easy to understand the importance of knowledge management at all levels of society. The different organizations, whether public or private, must take care of this important asset, whether tacit or explicit, formal or informal, since this is intimately linked to their levels of efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness. In reality, surveillance is not only limited to technological advances, but also to all those factors or elements that improve the competitiveness of organizations, that is, everything related to competitors, substitute products, local, national and international markets, human resources in the middle, emerging technologies available, scientific and technological advances, regulations and laws in force, environmental provisions, etc. The work begins by determining what is the current situation in the country and especially in the province of Mendoza, particularly in terms of the existence and growth of the business world of MiPyme, the foreseeable consequences of such a situation if it can not be reversed and the enormous opportunity that today is available through the entry into the digital revolution and change of paradigm that now exists worldwide. The conditions of the provincial economy are analyzed, as well as the cultural and educational strengths, which gives us an optimistic vision regarding our future. There is a general overview of the theoretical framework and the conceptual bases that will serve as a basis for the subsequent development of the project. Finally, a scheme of the project to be installed is developed according to the existing border conditions.
