    En el presente trabajo se realiza un análisis de las posibles estrategias que conlleven a un ahorro de energía eléctrica en la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas (UCI). Primero se ofrece una solución para dar respuesta a la pregunta ¿Cuánto se gasta y donde?, cuya respuesta es vital para poder después dar solución al objetivo central de la investigación, o sea, ¿Qué políticas de ahorro utilizar y como implementarlas? Para responder a la primera pregunta se propone una arquitectura de analizadores de redes que permite tener conocimiento en tiempo real del consumo energético en instalaciones seleccionadas al efecto, mientras que para esbozar la solución de la segunda se propone abordar el tema bajo los principios de los edificios inteligentes.

    In this paper is made an analysis of the possible strategists to save electrical energy in the University of Informatics Sciences. First, it is given a solution to answer to the question: Where and how much energy is spent? This answer is vital to solve the main objective of the investigation, that is, what saving politics should be used? How to fulfill these politics? To answer the first question, it is proposed an architecture of network analyzers that provides, in real time, the energetic waste in selected installations. On the other hand, to answer the second question, it is proposed to focus the problem based on the principles of smart buildings.
