Orientaciones metodológicas para el tratamiento del sistema de información geográfica y el GNSS en el III perfeccionamiento del sistema educativo cubano

    Actualmente muchos son los alcances del Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG) y el Sistema de Posicionamiento Global Satelital (GNNS) y consecuentemente diversas son las disciplinas que los han incorporado a su enseñanza. Sin embargo, un estudio reciente de la Comisión de Geografía para planes y  pro-gramas de estudio del Instituto Cubano de Ciencias Pedagógicas de Cuba en el marco del  III perfeccionamiento de la escuela cubana, comprobó  mediante la aplicación de instrumentos, encuestas y entrevistas, la necesidad de incorporar estos temas en el currículo, programa, libro de texto y orientaciones metodológicas de la geografía en la educación preuniversitaria. El presente trabajo tiene el propósito de brindar a los docentes que imparten la Geografía en la enseñanza preuniversitaria,  las orientaciones metodológicas necesarias para el tratamiento del SIG y el GNNS, ante  la carencia de  una preparación adecuada, para asumir estos nuevos cambios. Los resulta-dos  preliminares durante la primera etapa de aplicación de estos nuevos planes y programas de estudio de-muestran una gran aceptación  por parte de los docentes que están involucrados en el experimento.

    At present many are reach them of Geographic Information Systems (SIG) and the Global Positioning System (GNNS) and logically various they are the disciplines than have incorporated them to his teaching. However, a recent study of Geographic’s Commission for plans and programs of study of  Pedagogical  Sciences Cuban Institute in the frame of the third perfecting of the school, he checked intervening the application of instruments, opinion polls and interviews, the need to incorporate these themes in the curriculum, program, book of text and methodological orientations of geography in pre-university education. The present work has the purpose to toast to the teachers that the Geography in pre-university teaching, the methodological orientations necessary for the geographic treatment of SIG and GNNS, in front of the scarcity of an adequate preparation to assume these new changes. The worked out preliminaries during the first stage of application of these new plans and programs of study demonstrate a great acceptance for part of the teachers that are involved in the experiment.
