Resumen de Tarea “educando por amor”. Retos y perspectivas en la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas

  Desde hace varios cursos, la Federación Estudiantil Universitaria, con el propósito de apoyar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en los diferentes niveles educacionales del país, hace un llamado a sus miembros para incorporarlos a la tarea “Educando por Amor”. Los estudiantes universitarios que se incorporan a esta tarea se encargan de impartir docencia en las Secundarias Básicas, Preuniversitarios y Centros de la Enseñanza Técnica Profesional. El presente trabajo pretende caracterizar el desarrollo y funcionamiento de la tarea “Educando por Amor” en la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y de corte transversal en 199 alumnos que han pertenecido a la tarea “Educando por Amor” durante cinco cursos escolares. Entre los resultados principales resalta la incorporación de 199 estudiantes en la tarea, así como la permanencia de estos y la satisfacción con los resultados obtenidos en su labor como docentes. La UCI ha elaborado un procedimiento general para la selección y ubicación de los estudiantes pertenecientes a la tarea “Educando por Amor”, tomando como punto de partida la integralidad que avala la brigada, el colectivo de año y la dirección de sus correspondientes facultades, con prioridad en estudiantes de 4to y 5to año. Los estudiantes universitarios que pertenecen a la tarea protagonizan una importante labor que impacta no solo en el ámbito social, económico y educativo, sino también en la esfera personal y profesional.

  Several years ago, the University Student Federation, with the purpose of supporting the process of teaching and learning in the different educational levels of the country, made a call to its members to incorporate them to the task "Educating for Love". The university students who join this task are in charge of teaching in the Secondary schools, Pre-university and Technical-Professional Teaching Centers. This paper aims to characterize the development and operation of the task "Educating for Love" in the University of Informatics Science. An descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out on 199 students who have belonged to this task during four school years. Among the main results, a distinguished one is the incorporation of 199 students in the task, as well as their permanence and satisfaction with the results obtained in their work as teachers. Conclusions The University of Informatics Science has elaborated a general procedure for the selection and placement of students belonging to the "Educating for Love" task, taking as a starting point the integrality guaranteed by the brigade, the professors of the level and the head department of their corresponding faculties, with priority in 4th and 5th year students. The university students who belong to the task carry out an important work that has an impact not only in the social, economic and educational spheres, but also in the personal and professional spheres as well.
