    La cuarentena obligatoria dispuesta por el Poder Ejecutivo y el confinamiento de las personas puede ocasionar un impacto diferenciado en la violencia contra las mujeres, niñas y adolescentes. Es por ello que este reporte tiene por objetivo explorar mecanismos no tradicionales para hacer frente a la violencia familiar en la cuarentena por Covid-19 en Paraguay, a través de un reporte con la presentación de datos referentes a denuncias de mujeres tanto en la Policía Nacional, en el Ministerio Público y los juzgados de paz de la República, mediante su sistematización y que han ocurrido durante el mes de marzo de este año. Los resultados indican que durante la primera parte de la cuarentena hubo un aumento considerable de denuncias por violencia familiar y doméstica realizadas ante las dependencias institucionales, y que además de los mecanismos institucionales establecidos por el Gobierno es necesario implementar mecanismos no tradicionales para hacer frente a este flagelo y mitigar sus efectos, a través de la utilización de medios telemáticos, aplicaciones móviles, y la conformación de redes de respuesta rápida en la comunidad, como lo pueden ser las despensas de barrios y farmacias.

    The mandatory quarantine ordered by the Executive Power and the confinement of people can cause an impact on violence against women, girls and adolescents. That is why this report aims to explore non-traditional mechanisms to cope with family violence in quarantine by Covid-19 in Paraguay, through a report with the presentation of data regarding claims from women presented in the National Police, Public Ministry and Justice of the Peace courts of the Republic, filed in their systematization and that have occurred during the month of March of this year. The results indicate that during the first part of the quarantine there was a considerable increase of complaints of family and domestic violence presented to the institutional agencies. In addition to institutional mechanisms established by the Government, it is necessary to implement non-traditional mechanisms to confront this scourge and mitigate its effects, through the use of telematic means, mobile applications, and the creation of rapid response networks in the community, such as grocery stores of the neighborhood and pharmacies.
