Web of Science (WoS) is a platform based on webtechnology that collects the references of the mainscientific publications of any discipline of knowledge since1945, either scientific and technological, or humanisticand sociological, essential for supporting research and forthe recognition of the efforts and progress made by thescientific and technological community. Its purpose is notto provide complete manuscripts, but rather to provideanalysis tools that allow the performance and scientificquality of the research to be assessed and evaluated. Itallows access to different Databases through a singlequery interface, being able to access a single Databaseor several simultaneously. WoS was founded by EugeneGarfield and belongs to Clarivate Analytics, formerlyThomson Reuters [1–3].
