Resumen de Estrategia didáctica en la asignatura ciencias naturales para la formación de una cultura ambiental sostenible en la educación básica

  El presente artículo, se dirige a solucionar una de las problemáticas más acuciantes de la República del Ecuador, que es la formación de una cultura ambiental sustentable en los escolares que cursan el nivel básico. De tal hecho, desde los documentos rectores del país se han elaborado políticas para ser implementadas; sin embargo, en el orden educacional no existen propuestas satisfactorias para ser materializadas desde el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje. De esa situación no está exenta la educación básica y en específico los estudiantes del noveno año de educación básica de la Unidad Educativa “Dr. Carlos Romo Dávila” ubicada en el Cantón Flavio Alfaro de la provincia de Manabí. Por dicha razón, después de haber realizado una valoración en la literatura sobre la temática, de caracterizar tanto estudiantes como docentes; los autores, con la aplicación del método científico, llegaron a elaborar una estrategia de formación de una cultura ambiental sostenible aplicada en ese centro.PALABRAS CLAVE: Estrategia didáctica; cultura ambiental; desarrollo sostenible; ciencias naturales.

  DIDACTIC STRATEGY IN THE SUBJECT NATURAL SCIENCES TO EDUCATE STUDENTS FROM BASIC EDUCATION IN A SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL CULTUREABSTRACTThis article, tries to solve one of the most pressing problems in the Republic of Ecuador which is the formation of a sustainable environmental culture in the scholars that study at the elementary level of education. Of such a fact, from the most important political documents of the country, decisions have been elaborated to be implemented; however, in the educational order satisfactory proposals do not exist at the present moment to be put in practice from the teaching-learning process. Due to this situation the students of the ninth year of the elementary education from the Educational Unit “Dr. Carlos Romo Dávila” located in the canton Flavio Alfaro of the county of Manabí are not exempt. For this reason, after having carried out a valuation in the literature and of characterizing the situation; the authors, with the application of the scientific method, ended up elaborating a strategy of formation of a sustainable environmental culture applied in that center.KEYWORDS: Didactic strategy; environmental culture; sustainable development; natural sciences.
