  RESUMENEl objetivo de esta investigación es perfeccionar el vínculo de la teoría con la práctica durante los estudios de la carrera de Derecho. Este contribuye a la educación científica que implementa la pedagogía cubana, en correspondencia con el principio que se relaciona con el modelo del profesional y sus exigencias. La etapa de práctica laboral correctamente diseñada en cada año de la carrera contribuye al afianzamiento de los conocimientos teóricos adquiridos en las aulas, razón por la que debe pasar a ser una estrategia central no solo para la Universidad, sino también en estrecha relación y estricta coordinación con los organismos que luego asimilarán esta fuerza calificada. Se evidencia la necesidad de perfeccionar la práctica laboral al comparar el conocimiento que demuestran haber alcanzado y los resultados de trabajo que obtienen durante los primeros meses de labor, los egresados que durante sus estudios eran trabajadores de instituciones vinculadas al sector jurídico, con aquellos graduados del curso diurno y otras modalidades de estudio, que comienzan a desempeñarse laboralmente.   TRANSFORMING THE DESIGN OF ON-THE-JOB-TRAINING PERIODIN THE CARREER OF LAW AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LAS TUNAS: PRIORITY TO ACHIEVE A MORE COMPREHENSIVE GRADUATEABSTRACT The objective of this research is to improve the relationship between the theory and the practice during the studies of the academic Law’s majoring. It contributes to the scientific education which is applied by the Cuban Pedagogy according to the principle that relates the professional’s design and its requirements. The on-the-job-training period, when is efficiently organized in each academic year, contributes to increase the theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom. It is one of the reasons for which it should be one of the main strategies, not only for the university but also for the juridical institutions that will employ this qualified labour force. It is evident the necessity of improving the on-the-job-training period when comparing the knowledge acquired and the results obtained during the first months of their adjustment to the working conditions. The graduates that were workers of the institutions that belonged to the juridical sector during their majoring showed the best development when comparing to the graduates of the pre-service course and some other ways of study that start to develop in their professional lives.KEYWORDS: on-the-job-training period; law majoring; recorded knowledge.
