La sensibilidad y lo otro: el rol de la pasividad en la percepción en Merleau-Ponty

    La noción merleaupontiana de la percepción tiene un rol primordial en su pensamiento, siendo aquella que permite articular su noción de chair, vínculo sensible entre cuerpo y mundo. No obstante, dicha noción cambia paulatinamente a lo largo de su pensamiento, hasta conllevar más que un vínculo entre cuerpo y mundo, ahora también implicando una ruptura en lo propio, es decir, una diferencia en la unión. Este artículo busca constatar un análisis histórico en el pensamiento de Merleau-Ponty en torno a las nociones de percepción y sensibilidad, notando el rol que juega lo otro en ambas. Con ello, se seguirá la hipótesis de Renaud Barbaras en De l’être du phénomène, en que se plantea una relación entre la concepción temprana de la sensibilidad y ciertas nociones en su trabajo que refieren a la comunión con lo otro. Así, el principal aporte será evidenciar el rol de las dimensiones pasiva y activa del cuerpo en su vínculo sensible con el mundo y cómo se resuelve en su comprensión tardía de una percepción en tanto quiasmo.

    The merleaupontyian notion of perception plays a fundamental role in his thought, being the one that allowshim to articulate his notion ofchair,a sensitive link between body and world. However, this notion changesgradually throughout his thought, until it entails more than a link between body and world, now also implyinga rupture in the ownness, that is, a difference in the union. This article seeks to verify a historical analysis inMerleau-Ponty’s thought around the notions of perception and sensitivity, noting the role that the other playsin both. With this, the hypothesis of Renaud Barbaras inDe l’ˆetre du ph ́enom`enewill be followed, in whichthere is a relationship between the early conception of sensitivity and certain notions in his work that refer tocommunion with the other. Thus, the main contribution will be to show the role of the passive and activedimensions of the body in its sensitive link with the world and how it is resolved in its late understanding ofa perception aschiasm
