Plovdiv University has almost five years ofexperience in the implementation of performance supportsystem principles in traditional university education andPSS Learning Objects in DIPSEIL CMLS as well as inPhysics Engineering, Medical Physics and InformationPhysics and Communications bachelor degree courses andin Information and Communications Systems masterdegree courses. Partnerships between universities on theone hand and enterprises on the other are crucial when itcomes to matching the needs for skills on the labor marketin the region with those students can actually offer. In thisregard our industry partners Index 6, TepolSofts, whichoperate in the field of the adaptive performance-centeredcurriculum, will help us in the skills and personalcompetence profiles identification.On the first stage of the project the potential of employers'surveys will be explored as a tool for analysing the skillsand abilities needed for the electronic and softwareengineering job positions. The right skills portfolio will bedefined and the matrix of learning outcomes will bedeveloped. The overlapping areas in the competenceprofiles and the higher education programmes at PlovdivUniversity will be identified. Going forward the threeorganizations will take into account the outlined keycompetences and will develop a tailor-made training PACcurriculum, teaching, delivery and assessment methods,adapted to the relevant job positions. The basiccharacteristic of the PAC training curriculum will be itsadaptability.
