    El presente artículo trata sobre el uso pedagógico de las TIC en la Enseñanza de la Geografía Económica en Educación Media Técnica, para lo cual se identificó, analizó, e interpretó los hallazgos que sobre ello tienen los docentes en las Escuelas Técnicas del Municipio “Campo Elías” del Estado Mérida, Venezuela, conllevando así a los fundamentos teóricos y prácticos para la aplicación de las TIC en la enseñanza de la Geografía Económica. Al respecto, se asumió los criterios del paradigma constructivista-interpretativo, el método investigativo de comparación constante de la teoría fundamentada; se aplicó un diseño de campo y documental. Se llegó a la sinergia entre tres categorías teóricas: Docencia en Geografía, Formación en Geografía Económica e implementación de Las TIC en la enseñanza de la Geografía Económica.

    This article deals with the pedagogical use of ICT in the Teaching of Economic Geography in Technical Secondary Education, for which the findings that teachers have about it in the Technical Schools of the Municipality “Campo Elías” of the Mérida State, Venezuela, thus leading to theoretical and practical foundations for the application of ICT in the teaching of Economic Geography. In this regard, the criteria of the constructivist-interpretive paradigm were assumed, the investigative method of constant comparison of the grounded theory, a field and documentary design was applied. Synergy was reached between three theoretical categories: Teaching in Geography, Training in Economic Geography and implementation of ICT in the teaching of Economic Geography
