The reform efforts within the Bologna Process as a guarantee of the quality standards of student education in Europe and thereby ensuring the effectiveness of education are implemented in the education system of universities. There are still differences in the forms of education provision within the EU Member States. In the university environment we encounter a combination of traditional education with modern elements of e-learning, while its use in education is almost self-evident. The paper is devoted to the research of relation between quality and efficiency of student education through e-learning. Within primary research with the application of data analysis to obtain relevant information revealing intentions behavior of students in its use correlated with the effectiveness and quality of education through supporting forms such as e-learning system. The research was conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey that revealed many critical factors that relate to established standards and to the provision of educational material directly from teachers to students. The questions were streemed to individual areas of e-learning in order to obtain a true picture of its use. The result of the research is a conceptual model of student satisfaction with e-learning, as well as pointing out the effectiveness of using the e-learning system at the University of Žilina.
