Resumen de El costo de la contrarrevolución. La Caja Matriz de Lima y los gastos de la guerra en tiempos del Virrey Abascal (1806-1816)

  En el contexto de la conmemoración del bicentenario de la independencia del Perú, aún existen vacíos historiográficos, temas que no han sido analizados con el empeño con que se han estudiado otros ejes. Desde esa perspectiva, el trabajo tiene como objetivo central analizar los gastos de guerra registrados en la Caja Matriz de Lima en el contexto de las guerras contrarrevolucionarias impulsadas por el Virrey Abascal. Estos gastos intervinieron en sostener los esfuerzos bélicos en el continente americano, por medio de financiar publicaciones fidelistas, cubrir la alimentación y el traslado de las tropas y la compra de indumentaria, medicinas y armas. Para cumplir el objetivo de la investigación, nos centraremos en los libros mayores y manuales de la Real Hacienda del Perú y las memorias del Virrey Abascal.

  In the context of the commemoration of the bicentenary of Peru's independence, there are still historiographic gaps, themes that have not been analyzed with the effort with which other axes have been studied. From that perspective, the main objective of the work is to analyze the war expenses recorded in the Lima Main Box in the context of the counter-revolutionary wars promoted by the Viceroy Abascal. These expenses intervened to sustain the war efforts in the American continent, by financing fidelist publications, covering the food and transfer of troops and the purchase of clothing, medicines and weapons. To fulfill the objective of the research, we will focus on the books and manuals of the Real Hacienda of Peru and the memories of Viceroy Abascal.
