    The formalist approach applied to monetary iconography makes it possible to retrace the milestones of Gallic numismatics, to identify and analyze typical motifs - or not - of the Latène culture and to propose interpretations by summoning other Celtic artefacts. Formalism, by nature, integrates contemporary methods based on digital technology and artificial intelligence in order to improve classifications and thus facilitate iconographic and symbolic reading

    L'approche formaliste appliquée à l'iconographie monétaire permet de retracer les jalons de la numismatique gauloise, d'identifier et d'analyser des motifs typiques -ou non- de la culture laténienne et de proposer des interprétations en convoquant d'autres artefacts celtiques. Le formalisme, par nature, intègre les méthodes contemporaines basées sur le numérique et l'intelligence artificielle afin d'améliorer les classements et ainsi faciliter la lecture iconographique et symbolique.
