Resumen de O impacto da pandemia da Covid-19 sobre as mães em home office: um estudo na região sudeste do Brasil

  This study aimed to identify and understand the factors that, in the pandemic context, contributed to the emotional exhaustion of mothers who also work outside the home. Data were collected using in-depth interview and analyzed using the Content Analysis technique. The interviewees were 10 women who had a paid job, being employed in any organization and working in home office during the Covid-19 pandemic, and who were mothers of children in early childhood. Analyzing the collected reports, it was found that women those who had a job outside the home and were mothers of children in early childhood began to feel physically and emotionally exhausted during the pandemic period. This panorama reinforces the profound gender inequality in the labour market that has been experienced for so long and is rooted in the history of society.

  Este estudo teve como objetivo identificar e compreender os fatores que, no contexto pandêmico, contribuíram para a exaustão emocional das mães que também trabalham fora do lar. Os dados foram coletados a partir de entrevistas em profundidade e analisados por meio da técnica de Análise de Conteúdo. Foram entrevistadas 10 mulheres que tinham um trabalho remunerado, estando empregadas em alguma organização e exercendo sua função em home office durante a pandemia da Covid-19, e que eram mães de crianças na primeira infância. Analisando os relatos colhidos, constatou-se que as mulheres que tinham um trabalho fora do lar e eram mães de filhos em primeira infância ficaram exaustas física e emocionalmente durante o período pandêmico. Tal panorama reforça a profunda desigualdade de gênero no mercado de trabalho vivenciada há tanto tempo e enraizada na história da sociedade.
