El presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo realizar la descripción clínica y diagnóstico de trombofilias hereditarias de una paciente del servicio de Medicina del Hospital General Universitario “Vladímir Ilich Lenin” de la provincia de Holguín en Cuba, en el año 2021. Para su cumplimiento se empleó la revisión del expediente clínico y el método clínico, así como los métodos de la investigación científica: revisión bibliográfica, análisis de contenido y analítico-sintético. Se significa que las trombofilias hereditarias son un grupo de enfermedades infrecuentes, de una clínica solapada y de difícil diagnóstico en nuestro medio, donde el método clínico juega un papel fundamental en su detección. El tratamiento aplicado según el protocolo nacional sobre las trombofilias con mutación de los factores II, V y XIII mediante anticoagulantes: Warfarina sódica de 2 mg y nadroparina de 0.6 mg permitió la resolución total del cuadro clínico.
The objective of this case study is to carry out the clinical description and diagnosis of hereditary thrombophilia in a patient of the Medicine service of the General University Hospital "Vladímir Ilich Lenin" of the province of Holguín in Cuba, in the year 2021. For its fulfillment, used the review of the clinical file and the clinical method, as well as the methods of scientific research: bibliographic review, content analysis and analytical-synthetic. It means that hereditary thrombophilias are a group of infrequent diseases, with overlapping clinics and difficult diagnosis in our environment, where the clinical method plays a fundamental role in their detection. The treatment applied according to the national protocol on thrombophilias with mutation of factors II, V and XIII by means of anticoagulants: warfarin sodium 2 mg and nadroparin 0.6 mg allowed the complete resolution of the clinical picture.
