Resumen de Corpo Arché: Memória e poder na obra de Adriana Varejão

The study is about the contemporary theoretical-conceptual articulation between the body, memory and gender, having as an object of analysis the works of the plastic artist Adriana Varejão. In this way, this proposal intends to indicate the conception of the body inserted in the dynamics of power relations, from the perspective of contemporary political theory. Through a transdisciplinary methodological approach, in the wake of Foucault's thought, we seek Judith Butler's contributions on gender and sociopolitical inscriptions. And in the formulations of Michel Foucault himself, with regard to bodily relations in spaces. Through the modulations of Pierre Nora, it will be possible to understand the idea of memory places as another archival framing for the body. It was aimed, therefore, to point out this corporeality as a living file of resistance. The body conceived as an architecture of enjoyment.

Trata-se da articulação teórico-conceitual contemporânea entre corpo, memória e gênero, tendo como objeto de análise as obras da artista plástica Adriana Varejão. Dessa maneira, esta proposta pretende indicar a concepção do corpo inserida nas dinâmicas das relações de poder, sob a perspectiva da teoria política contemporânea. Pela aproximação metodológica transdisciplinar, buscou-se o aporte, na esteira do pensamento foucaultiano, de uma autora como Judith Butler e suas noções de gênero e inscrição sociopolítica. E nas formulações do próprio Michel Foucault, no que diz respeito às relações corporais nos espaços, e sua analítica do poder. Já por meio das modulações de Pierre Nora, será possível compreender a ideia de lugar de memória como uma outra proposta arquivística para o corpo. Visou-se, portanto, apontar esta corporeidade também como arquivo vivo de resistência. O corpo concebido como arquitetura de gozo.
