Resumen de El reialisme a la Catalunya del Trienni Liberal (1820-1823)

This article analyses the counter-revolution and the anti-revolution in Catalonia during the Liberal Triennium (1820-1823): their development, their mobilization and organizational forms, their actions, their grassroots, their leaders and their political culture. The counter-revolution and the anti-revolution, the royalist movement, have a dialectical relation with the liberal revolution and this is the reason why a joint analysis is essential to understand them both. During the Liberal Triennium, the royalist movement was a heterogeneous and complex group that channelled the counter-revolution by the old ruling classes as well as the anti-liberalism of a part of the lower classes, mainly in rural regions but also in urban areas, around the chant of «Long live the King and the religion!».

En aquest text analitzem la contrarevolu-ció i l’antirevolució a Catalunya durant el Trienni Liberal (1820-1823): el desenvolupa-ment que va tenir, les formes d’organització i mobilització, les accions, les bases socials, els dirigents i la cultura política. La contrare-volució i l’antirevolució, el reialisme, estan dialècticament relacionades amb la revolució liberal, d’aquí que en sigui imprescindible l’anàlisi conjunta per comprendre-les totes dues. Durant el Trienni Liberal, el reialisme va ser un moviment heterogeni i complex que va canalitzar, tant la contrarevolució de les velles classes dominants, com l’antilibera-lisme d’una part de les classes populars, so-bretot rurals, però també urbanes, al voltant del crit de «Visca el Rei i la Religió!.
