En México, la reelección y la no reelección consecutivas responden a la fluidez de la ideología en relación con los cambios de las circunstancias históricas y los intereses políticos. La intersección del derecho a la reelección consecutiva y el valimiento del principio de paridad de género, fortalecidos por el mandato constitucional de integrar paritariamente los órganos colegiados, imponen retos a los órganos electorales, al tutelar los derechos y principios que el legislador constituyente preceptúa cuando concurre la omisión o inadecuación legislativa en materia electoral, por lo que el análisis del derecho electoral mexicano debe comprehender, además del contenido constitucional y legal, el estudio del precedente judicial, los criterios jurisprudenciales y la actividad reglamentadora de os órganos administrativos electorales con perspectiva histórica

The consecutive re-election and non-reelection in Mexico echoes the fluidity of the ideology in relation to the changes in the historical circumstances and political interests. The intersection of the right to consecutive re-election and the enforce of the principle of gender parity, strengthened with the constitutional mandate to integrate the collegiate bodies in parity of genders, imposes challenges on the electoral authorities, when they protect the rights and principles that the constituent legislator has decreed, amid the legislative omission or inadequacy of the law in electoral matters, for which reason the analysis of Mexican electoral law must include, in addition to the constitutional and legal texts, the study of judicial precedent, of jurisprudential criteria, and of the regulatory activity of the electoral administrative authority, throuht a historical perspective
