Resumen de Transferência de atitudes em relação a presidentes da república

  The present experiment investigated whether a matching-to-sample procedure would be sufficient to form equivalence classes composed of photographs of Brazilian presidents and abstract figures. Additionally, it investigated, using a semantic differential scale, whether after the formation of the stimulus equivalence class there would be a transfer of function from the photographs of presidents to the abstract figures. Five university students participated in the research. Participants evaluated the experimental stimuli using a semantic differential scale composed of 14 pairs of bipolar adjectives (pre-test). The stimuli evaluated were photographs of the presidents of the republic (Bolsonaro, Lula and Fernando Henrique Cardoso), the acronyms of their parties (PSL, PT and PSDB) and two sets of abstract figures (B and C). After the evaluations, the participants performed a matching-to-sample task in which relations between the photographs of presidents (model stimuli) and the abstract figures (B and C) were taught. Then the participants underwent emergency tests of symmetry and transitivity relations. A second test was performed to verify equivalence relations between the stimuli used in training and the acronyms of the parties and the words right, center and left. After these tests, the participants performed a post-test in which they again evaluated the experimental stimuli using the same semantic differential scale used in the pre-test. The results obtained demonstrated both the formation of the equivalence classes and the transfer of function from stimuli with pre-experimental meaning to stimuli without pre-experimental meaning: in the post-test, the abstract stimuli received evaluations similar to the evaluations of the photographs of the presidents of the republic. The results described in this work demonstrate how attitudes towards politicians can be transferred to new stimuli.

  O presente experimento investigou se um procedimento de emparelhamento de acordo com o modelo seria suficiente para formar classes de equivalência compostas por fotografias de presidentes da república brasileiros e figuras abstratas. Adicionalmente, investigou, utilizando-se uma escala de diferencial semântico, se após a formação da classe de equivalência de estímulos haveria transferência de função das fotografias de presidentes para as figuras abstratas. Cinco estudantes universitários participaram da pesquisa. Cada participante avaliou os estímulos experimentais utilizando uma escala de diferencial semântico antes e depois de passar por tarefas de treino de discriminações condicionais e teste de emergência de relações de equivalência de estímulos. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram tanto a formação de classes de equivalência quanto a transferência de função dos estímulos com significado pré-experimental para os estímulos sem significado pré-experimental. Os resultados descritos neste trabalho demonstram como atitudes em relação a políticos podem ser transferidas para novos estímulos.
