En el patio aprendemos ciencia: “del estanque en el patio del liceo, al laboratorio”

    El presente trabajo enmarca en un proyecto realizado con estudiantes de quinto año (Diversificación Biológica) del liceo N.°13 “Ituzaingó”, del CES. El equipo de dirección autoriza el proyecto y la participación en el mismo de los padres de los estudiantes involucrados. El desafío consistió en que los/as estudiantes fueran los responsables del trabajo y afianzaran la confianza en sí mismos, mejorando su autoestima. La autogestión también procuró desarrollar habilidades como la capacidad de aplicar y comprender los conceptos trabajados en el aula. Durante el desarrollo de la actividad, realizaron varias tareas para la construcción del estanque. Una de ellas, fue elegir el espacio donde construirlo, conseguir los materiales y herramientas necesarias para la construcción. En otra instancia de trabajo; debían, relacionar la construcción del estanque y su funcionamiento con la unidad “La Biodiversidad como riqueza a conservar” (Humedales), del Programa de Segundo Año de Bachillerato Diversificación Biológica. Por último, debían planificar una clase pensando en la población objetivo, estudiantes de primer año de ciclo básico, para valorar sus logros de aprendizaje, capacidad de jerarquización y  transposición didáctica. El rol de la docente de biología que ser guía y orientadora en el diseño del objeto de estudio (estanque) y proporcionó los contenidos conceptuales necesarios para avanzar en el proyecto. Como resultado se construyó el estanque y se pudo utilizar, relacionándolo con los contenidos del programa del año lectivo. Se focalizó en un grupo de organismos: diatomeas, de las que se observó mediante microscopio óptico, una comunidad representativa de este tipo de ecosistema acuático.

    This work is part of a project carried out with fifthyear students (Biological Diversification) of the high school nro. 13 “Ituzaingó”, of the CES. The management team authorizes the project and the participation of the parents of the students involved. The challenge was for the students to beresponsible for the work and to strengthen their self-confidence, improving their self-esteem. Selfmanagement also sought to develop skills such asthe ability to apply and understand the concepts worked in the classroom. During the development of the activity, they carried out various tasks for theconstruction of the pond. One of them was choosing the space to build it, getting the materials and tools necessary for construction.
