    El presente Informe Científico-Técnico, pertenece a una Beca de Investigación para Alumnos Avanzados de la UNPA, a cargo de la becaria Adriana Videla y se enmarca en el PI 29/A469-1 “Los impactos en el crecimiento urbano del Área Rururbana Intraejidal (ARI) incorporada al ejido municipal de Río Gallegos, en 2018. Provincia de Santa Cruz. República Argentina”, proyecto y beca dirigidos por la Lic. Alicia P. Cáceres. El tema de la beca es “Posición geográfica” del Polígono A, última incorporación de tierras al ejido de la ciudad de Río Gallegos en el año 2018. Teóricamente, pertenece a la Geografía en general y en particular a la Geografía Urbana y, metodológicamente corresponde al primer momento de la investigación de cualquier territorio, la posición geográfica. Por tal motivo, este informe tiene como objetivos, en primer lugar, relevar los elementos comprendidos en la posición geográfica del Polígono A del ejido municipal de Río Gallegos, según el modelo de aplicación geográfica que analiza los tres conceptos: Sitio, Emplazamiento y Situación; y en segundo lugar realizar un diagnóstico territorial en relación a los recursos naturales y antrópicos que ofrece y los riesgos naturales y antrópicos que se generan.

    Metodológicamente, se relevó, leyó comprensivamente y analizó bibliografía específica; se planificaron tres salidas de campo y se elaboró cartografía temática.

    Los resultados permitieron caracterizar la posición geográfica del Polígono A de la ampliación del ejido municipal en 2018, además de aportar teórica y metodológicamente al PI 29/A469-1 y a la formación en investigación de la becaria.

    This Scientific-Technical Report belongs to a Research Scholarship for Advanced Students ofthe UNPA, Ms. Adriana Videla, and is part of PI 29/A469-1 "Impacts on urban growth in the Rururban Intraejidal Area (ARI) incorporated to the municipal ejido of Río Gallegos, in 2018. Province of Santa Cruz, Republic of Argentina”, project and scholarship directed by Lic. Alicia P. Cáceres. The subject of the scholarship is "Geographic Position" of Polígono A, thelast addition of land to the ejido of the city of Río Gallegos in 2018. Theoretically, it belongs to Geography in general and in particular to Urban Geography and methodologically corresponds to the first moment of the investigation of any territory, the geographical position. For this reason, this report aims, firstly, to reveal the elements included in the geographical position of Polígono A of the Río Gallegos municipal ejido, according to the geographical application model that analyzes the three concepts: place, site and situation; and secondly, carry out a territorial diagnosis in relation to the natural and anthropic resources that it offers and the natural and anthropic risks that are generated. Methodologically, specific bibliography was surveyed, read comprehensively and analyzed; three field trips were planned and thematic cartography was prepared. The results will allow characterizing the geographical position of Polígono A of the extension of the municipal ejido in 2018, in addition to contributing theoretically and methodologically to PI 29/A469-1 and to the research training of the fellow.
