Resumen de Desulfovibrio bacteria in blacksmokers

Jesús Lozano Sánchez, María Luque Jiménez, Carmen López Domínguez, Carlos Luis Mozo Rivera

  • In this article, we will examine the concept of chemotroph (sulfur-reducing and sulfur-oxidizing organisms) from a biological, chemical, and thermodynamic standpoint, as well as the interaction or adaptation that they experience under certain conditions, as in the case of Desulfovibrio. Simultaneously, we will examine its energy performance by using different systems to accept electrons (FADH instead of the more common NADH) and its response to specific agents
