Resumen de El Fortí de Vinaròs (1669-1837): Un reducto frente al mar

Se presentan los resultados de la excavación arqueológica de un reducto del siglo XVIII situado en el frente del mar de la villa de Vinaròs, con motivo de las obras de reforma de un edificio de 1852. Tras repasar los antecedentes históricos del Fortí de Vinaròs (Baix Maestrat, Castelló), se describe la actuación arqueológica realizada, centrándose en los hallazgos de esta fortificación entre los siglos XVII y la primera mitad del XIX, sus principales materiales y la interpretación de su evolución.

The results of the archaeological excavation of an 18th-century bastion located on the sea of the town of Vinaròs, on the occasion of the renovation works of a building dating from 1852, are presented. After reviewing the historical background of the Fortí de Vinaròs (Baix Maestrat, Castelló), the archaeological work carried out is described, focusing on the findings of this fortification between the 17th and the first half of the 19th centuries, its main materials and the interpretation of its evolution.
