Looking at the XV century in the Iberian Peninsula in a simplistic way can separate the kingdoms in presence by the different religions. But a closer look reveals that the political and diplomatic web is full of nuances, much more complex than it appears and where Christian kingdoms are at war while having truce with the Muslim kingdom of Granada. The long coexistence of centuries between religions has brought war, but also peace and from these times there are several testimonies by chroniclers, of which we will study three: Pero Carrillo de Huete, Friar Lope de Barrientos and Gomes Eanes de Zurara.
