    • This biometric study has been carried with 4 zoometric measurements and the live weight on a total of 236 Friesian dairy cows of 4 dairy farms with milking robot. The average values for the measures (cm) were: front height (AlCru) 139.83r4.77; rump height (AlGrup); 144.92r4.43; hip width (AnGrup) 56.49r3.99 and thorax perimeter (PeTor) 202.62r10,01. With regard to the coefficient of variation, this one was within a rank of 3.06% in the rum height and 7.07% in the hip with. The average live weight (PeViv) was of 609.55r80.16 kg, presenting a coefficient of variation of 13.15%. All the phenotypic correlations between zoometric variables and live weight were significant (P<0.001). The highest values take place between thorax perimeter/live weight (0.83), front height/rump height (0.78), and hip width/ thorax perimeter (0.71). Live body weight had a linear relationship with thoracic perimeter with the following equation: PevViv = 6.6679 * PeTor – 741.5. One principal component analysis was computed. The first component accounted for 71.9% of the variation. The variables more correlated with this component are the thorax perimeter, live weight and hip width, expressing form or morphology. The second factor is mainly related with size, and was associated with front and rump height (13.6% of the total variance)
