El magisterio asturiano durante los años de la República no fue tierra yerma en lo que a innovación educativa se refiere, también allí prendió la llama.
Mucho se sabe, por ejemplo, sobre los centros de colaboración y el método de proyectos, pero nada sobre un movimiento que en esa época principiaba con la fuerza del recién nacido: las técnicas Freinet. El primer movimiento de maestros freinetianos también tuvo en Asturias maestros que implantaron las técnicas escolares. Se estudia en este trabajo —al que seguirán otros— al primero de esos maestros, se indaga sobre su adscripción al movimiento Freinet y se presenta al periódico «Eco Escolar».

The asturian magistery during the years of the Republic did not be a barren land as far as educational innovation is concerned, also there the flame was lit. Much is known, for example, about the collaboration centers and the project methods, but nothing about a movement that in this time began with the strength of the newborn: the Freinet techniques. The first movement of the freinetian teachers also had in Asturias teachers that implemented school techniques. It is studied in this work – to be followed by others – to the first of those teachers, it is inquired about his affiliation to the Freinet movement and it is presented to the newspaper «Eco Escolar».
