El presente artículo pretende analizar los efectos de la integración sobre la identidad de los bárbaros en el Imperio romano del siglo V, para lo que se centra en dos familias conocidas con tres o más generaciones. Se concluye que esta integración se realizaba a través de la participación de una identidad germanista, mediada por la literatura y etnografías clásica, abierta a otras formas de romanidad

This article aims to analyze the effects of integration on the identity of the barbarians in the 5th century Roman Empire, for which it focuses on two known families with three or more generations. It is concluded that this integration was carried out through the participation of a Germanist identity, mediated by classical literature and ethnographies, open to other forms of Romanity
