The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, which has spread around the world in a very short time, has revealed that disease transmission control is a necessary step in preventing disease outbreaks and that effective screening for viral infectious diseases is essential. People infected with the coronavirus show symptoms such as loss of smell, joint pain, but above all, increased body temperature. Many countries have introduced many restrictions on controls. One of these controls and limitations was measuring body temperature before entering the building. The same inspection was introduced by the Faculty of Security Engineering of the University of Žilina during the final exams. A Micro-epsilon tim 450 thermal imaging camera and appropriate software were used to measure body temperature. A total of 140 measurements were performed on 70 students, who measured body temperature at the entrance to the building and at its exit. The article contains a detailed description of the course and organization of measurements, evaluation of measurements. The article also contains recommendations and possible management practices during final examinations at universities during the Covid-19 pandemic.
