    • We open in RESIDUOS a new section called «Today we talk to ... »), with a wide and interesting interview to Eusebio Murillo, Director of the Solid Waste Management Department of the General Secretariat for the Environment of the EC and member of our Advisory Council who in a recent visit to our installations had a large discussion with Julian Uriarte, member of the Advisory Council of RESIDUOS. Eusebio Murillo talked about the most important and current subjects in the EC about waste legislation and revealed that industries should produce cleaner wastes by using new technologies and that both manufacturers and consumers are responsible for these wastes. Eusebio Murillo, born in Granada 45 years ago, B.A. Chemistry, has been assistant profesor in Environmental Chemistry in The Technological University of Delf (Netherlands) and Director of the Municipal Service of Cleaning and Waste Management in Valladolid (Spain). In 1988 he entered the General Secretariat for the Environment of the EC, and now he is Director of the Solid Waste Management of this Secretariat.
