The lubricating oils and greases are widely used to solve frictions problems. Basically, are hydrocarbons with chemicals additives. Waste «used oil is generated when product gets out from its physicals and chemicals specifications making necessary to replace it. Uncontrolled burns or disposal will seriously affect the air, soil and water. Agencia del Media Ambiente (A.M.A.) and his public company EGMASA are developing the management os used oil through the «Plan Director para la Gesti6n Integral de Aceites Usados» (General Plan for the Integral Management of Used Oils). In 1992 the ·results reflect a high degree of fulfilment. 12.000 tons have been collected from 90% of the Andalusian population.
