  • Since the administrations in most of communitary countries hardly know the amount and consequence of the wastes their industries produce, EC has decided to start some instruments that allow some control and correction. These instruments are the environmental audits, studies that pretend to diagnose the ((environmental situation of an company and in this way improve it. For the present, there has only been made a proposal of regulation, too complex, that should be simplified to start with it and which allows companies to be helped or not by environmental audits.
