Resumen de Análisis actitudinal de la palabra bollera en Madrid: de la agresión a la reapropiación

  Este artículo tiene como objetivo investigar los usos ofensivos y reapropiados de la palabra bollera en Madrid. Se considera que la orientación sexual del emisor es muy relevante para interpretar el uso del término como ofensivo o no ofensivo; asimismo, se piensa que algunos factores sociales pueden ser pertinentes para evaluar el uso de esta palabra (género, orientación sexual, edad y nivel de instrucción). Así, se creó una encuesta online para recoger y analizar actitudes hacia este término. En dicha encuesta, se ofrecían cuatro situaciones comunicativas no amenazantes distintas de uso de bollera, variando la orientación sexual de las hablantes para que los encuestados valorasen este contraste. Los resultados, procesados con el programa SPSS, muestran que los informantes perciben diferencias entre las situaciones comunicativas, además de valorar más positivamente a las emisoras no heterosexuales del cuestionario. Los factores sociales de los informantes han resultado relevantes en esta evaluación.

  The aim of this article is to research the offensive and reclaimed usages of the word bollera in Madrid. Sexual orientation of the speaker is considered to be highly relevant to the interpretation of the usage as offensive or nonoffensive. Besides, some social factors are believed to be relevant in order to evaluate the usage of this term (gender, sexual orientation, age, and level of instruction). To this end, an online survey aimed at collecting and analysing attitudes of speakers from Madrid was conducted. The survey offered four different, nonthreatening situations in which women used the word bollera, but the sexual orientation of the speaker was changed in order to evaluate the contrast. Results were processed through SPSS. They show that participants do perceive differences between the various communicative situations; they also evaluate more positively the non-heterosexual speakers in the survey.
