Resumen de O des-velamento de Alice em O fotógrafo e a rapariga, de Mário Cláudio

This paper intends to provide a critical reading of the novel O Fotógrafo e a Rapariga (2015), by Portuguese author Mário Claudio, considering the building of the character Alice Liddell through procedures that involve the memory – which allows (re)writing the character’s own story within the novel. For that, it will be necessary to scrutinize the elaborated narrative and intertextual game that pervades the novel. In order to analyze the writing of the character, we are going to rely on her memories, her daydreaming thoughts, the stories she tells and the photos taken by Charles Dodgson. From this sophisticated textual game, we will un-veil Alice with the purpose of understanding the how the book unfolds.

Este artigo tem por objetivo elaborar uma leitura crítica da novela O fotógrafo e a rapariga (2015), do escritor português Mário Cláudio, levando em conta, a construção da personagem Alice Liddell por meio de procedimentos que envolvem a questão da memória – o que permite à personagem (re)escrever, na novela, a própria história. Para isso, será necessário esmiuçar o elaborado jogo narrativo e intertextual que atravessa o texto. Para analisar a escrita da personagem Alice, recorremos a suas memórias, seus devaneios, suas histórias e suas fotografias, tiradas pelo Charles Dodgson. A partir desse elaborado jogo textual, des-velaremos Alice, procurando entender como se dá seus desdobramentos no livro do autor português.
