    Este artículo pretende dar cuenta de la conformación del “campo socialista” en Colombia, en los años 70 del siglo pasado, cuando contribuyó a fomentar debates políticos significativos dentro de la izquierda del país. Este lapso está comprendido entre dos cismas de singular importancia para los trotskistas del mundo, que marcaron su quehacer y fueron objeto de polémicas dentro de la IV Internacional –organización en la cual se aglutinaron las agrupaciones que hicieron parte del “campo socialista” colombiano–, y de ésta con otras organizaciones de izquierda.Palabras Clave: Socialismo, Trotskysmo, Izquierda, IV Internacional

    ABSTRACT"THE PRESENT IS OF FIGHT, THE FUTURE SOCIALIST"This article tries to describe the conformation of the “socialist field” in Colombia during the 1970s, when it fed significant political debates inside the left of the country.
