    El autor indaga el carácter trágico del Barroco hispano desde el punto de vista del límite trágico. Las fuentes centrales son Baltasar Gracián y Miguel de Cervantes. En el extremo cumplimiento del devenir trágico, en su límite tendencial, no se produce la tensión entre inmanencia y trascendencia, finitud e infinitud, facticidad e idealidad, como polos opuestos (que se niegan entre sí) y necesarios. Más bien aparece la intrincación entre ambos. Lo ideal transmundano es un imposible necesario inherente al mundo, a lo finito, a la facticidad, en la forma aporética de su sustracción generadora, que impele a convertir al mundo en aquello que es digno de ser eternizado. El límite trágico es el peculiar lugar de un no-lugar. Es el lugar en el que destella lo imposible eterno en el momento fatal en el que el mundo y la vida pierden su sentido. El héroe trágico vence en su propio derrumbamiento.

    The author investigates the tragic character of the Hispanic Baroque from the point of view of the tragic limit. The central sources are Baltasar Gracián and Miguel de Cervantes. In the extreme fulfillment of the tragic becoming, in its tendential limit, there is no tension between immanence and transcendence, finitude and infinity, facticity and ideality, as opposite and necessary poles, but the intricacy between the two appears. The transmundane ideal is a necessary impossibility inherent in the world, in the finite, in facticity, in the aporetic form of its generating subtraction, which impels to convert the world into that which is worthy of being eternalized. The tragic limit is the peculiar place of a non-place. It is the place where the eternal impossible shines at the fatal moment in which the world and life lose their meaning.
