Li Qingzhao (李清照), poeta de la dinastía Song (960-1279), es una figura emblemática en la historia de la poesía china. Sus obras, de gran notoriedad, no solo son objeto de amplios y profundos trabajos de investigación en China, sino que también han sido propagadas con mucha frecuencia en el extranjero y leídas por muchos lectores de otras culturas. En el mundo hispánico, la traducción y la difusión de sus composiciones también son considerables. El presente artículo tiene por objetivo realizar un estudio comparativo de las nueve versiones españolas existentes de su poema representativo, “Una rama de ciruelo” (一剪梅·红藕香残玉簟秋). Nuestro trabajo se centra en las estrategias aplicadas en la traducción de la forma estilística y de los elementos culturales metafóricos. Percibimos que, pese a la diversidad de estrategias y técnicas de traducción empleadas, los traductores tienen como objetivo principal llevar a cabo una traducción en que se dé un equilibrio en «fidelidad» y «aceptabilidad», no solo en la estructura sino también en el sentido.

Li Qingzhao (李清照), a poet of the Song dynasty (960-1279), who is an emblematic figure in the history of Chinese poetry. Her well-known works are not only the subject of extensive and in-depth research in China but have also been widely spread abroad and read by many readers in other cultures. In the Hispanic world, the translation and dissemination of her compositions are also considerable. This article aims to carry out a comparative study of the nine existing Spanish versions of her representative poem, “Una rama de ciruelo” (一剪梅·红藕香残玉簟秋). Our work focuses on the strategies applied in the translation of stylistic form and metaphorical cultural elements. We perceive that, the translators have chosen different strategies and techniques, and their main objectives consist of makingthe translation balanced in «fidelity» and «acceptability», not only in relation to the structure but also to the meaning.
