  • More than 100 mio. tonnes of urban waste are produced each year from the 345 mio inhabitants in the 12 countries which were member of the European Union before 1995. This corresponds to 300 kg. /Inch. /Year. In addition, 190 m10. tonnes of building waste plus a similar amount of industrial waste are produced.
