Resumen de Colaboración intercultural en la esfera digital entre estudiantes de español

  Este artículo describe un proyecto de telecolaboración entre estudiantes de español de dos universidades escandinavas. El propósito del proyecto era favorecer una colaboración digital e intercultural utilizando el español como lengua franca para promover la participación y la motivación. En la primera fase del proyecto los participantes fueron dirigidos con material de guía y encuentros digitales obligatorios, y debieron completar hojas de reflexiones continuamente. En la segunda fase, colaboraron en la elaboración de un producto digital sobre el tema del choque cultural. Las reflexiones y los productos digitales constituyen el material empírico analizado para evaluar el éxito del proyecto. El análisis de las reflexiones indica que, en general, los estudiantes se sintieron motivados con la experiencia y colaboraron activamente en la elaboración del producto, pero algunos factores externos como el tamaño de los grupos y diversos problemas con la tecnología han revelado algunos desafíos en el proceso.

  This article describes a telecollaboration between students of Spanish from two Scandinavian universities. The aim of the project was to establish a digital and intercultural collaboration using Spanish as the lingua franca, and the outcome of the collaboration was a digital product presenting the experience of culture shock. The students had liberty in the design of the digital product with the aim of exploring formats of engagement and learning outside regular university tasks. The first phase of the project included guidelines and obligatory digital meetings, and the students had to fill in reflection notes about their experience. These reflection notes, as well as the digital products, are the main data used to evaluate the success of the project. The analysis of the reflections indicates that, in general, the students have succeeded in their intercultural collaboration, but some external factors as the group size and technological problems have had a negative impact on the process.
