Perspectiva sociopedagógica para una cultura turística sostenible

    El artículo tiene como propósito reflexionar acerca de la perspectiva sociopedagógica para el alcance de una cultura turística sostenible. Para tal fin, se empleó una metodología cualitativa, con enfoque hermenéutico de tipo etnográfico, considerando la entrevista a profundidad como técnica además del análisis de contenido de textos históricos.  Los informantes clave fueron: líderes comunitarios Wayúu y guías turísticos.  Como resultado, se evidenció un horizonte en el que la sociedad ha encontrado un elemento del buen vivir dentro del turismo, desarrollando diferentes tipos y modalidades con exigencias y demandas que hacen de la oferta turística una actividad exigente de innovaciones permanentes. Finalmente, se concluye que el turismo es una propuesta de desarrollo social y económico en La Guajira y, por último, se concibe una perspectiva socio-pedagógica que apunta hacia el fomento de una cultura turística sostenible fundamentada en los valores y la identidad local.

    The purpose of this article is to reflect on the socio-educational perspective for the achievement of a sustainable tourism culture. For this purpose, a qualitative methodology was used, with a hermeneutic ethnographic approach, considering the in-depth interview as a technique in addition to the content analysis of historical texts.  The key informants were: Wayúu community leaders and tourist guides.  As a result, a horizon was evidenced in which society has found an element of good living within tourism, developing different types and modalities with requirements and demands that make the tourist offer a demanding activity of permanent innovations. Finally, it is concluded that tourism is a proposal for social and economic development in La Guajira and, finally, a socio-pedagogical perspective is conceived that points towards the promotion of a sustainable tourism culture based on values and local identity.
