    The article aims to present the results of an investigation, carried out between 2016 and 2019, on the penetration of criminal groups in the peripheries of Fortaleza, Ceará, and their acting in the management of conflicts and territories in the capital of Ceará. Exploring the criminal arrangement that takes shape on the fringes of the city from a field research that involved informal conversations, ethnographic records and semi-structured interviews, we highlight as results of the research the recent changes in the forms of management of territories and subjects of the peripheries of Fortaleza and their impacts on the composition of daily mobility and the right to housing in these spaces.

    O artigo tem por objetivo apresentar os resultados de uma investigação, realizada entre os anos de 2016 e 2019, sobre a penetração de coletivos criminais nos bairros das periferias de Fortaleza, Ceará, e sua atuação na gestão dos conflitos e territórios da capital cearense. Explorando o arranjo criminal que ganha forma nas franjas da cidade a partir de uma pesquisa de campo que envolveu conversas informais, registros etnográficos e entrevistas semiestruturadas, destacamos como resultados da pesquisa as mudanças recentes nas formas de gestão dos territórios e sujeitos das periferias fortalezenses e seus impactos sobre a tessitura das mobilidades cotidianas e o direito à moradia nesses espaços.
