La cistitis es una inflamación del interior de la vejiga, normalmente causada por una infección bacteriana. Inicialmente se localiza en la uretra, donde bacterias procedentes del intestino se introducen y multiplican para seguir su camino hacia la vejiga, los uréteres e incluso llegar a los riñones.
Es una causa de consulta en atención primaria, además que normalmente este proceso infeccioso suele repetirse.
La Bacteria Escherichia Coli es la causante habitual del 85% de las cistitis, aunque puede haber otros gérmenes como la Rebsiella, la Proteus Mirabillis o el hongo Candida Albicans, entre ellas algunos alimentos, jabones o perfumes, que provocan la irritación de la vejiga.

Cytitis is an inflamation of the inside of the blader, usually caused by a bacterial infection. Initially located in the urethra, where bacteria from the intestine enter and multiply to continue its way to the blader, the urethers and even reach the kidneys.
Is a reason for consultation in primary care, in addition, this infectious process is usually repeated.
