Resumen de Redes y relaciones de poder local para el cargo de subdelegado de Tequila en la Intendencia de Guadalajara, 1788-1790

El presente trabajo estudia las particularidades del último corregidor de Tequila, Francisco Cárdenas, para hacerse con el nombramiento de primer subdelegado de esta jurisdicción de la intendencia de Guadalajara al momento de la aplicación de la Ordenanza de Intendentes en la Nueva España en 1786. Lo anterior con el fundamento de haber salido sin cargo alguno en el juicio de residencia que se le realizó, pero sobre todo basándose en una real cédula de Su Majestad donde se indicaba que se le diera preferencia a quienes habían tenido “buen desempeño” y “acreditada conducta”. El seguimiento de estos hechos a nivel local nos pone frente a una escala de análisis que permite apreciar otros elementos a los hasta el momento estudiados sobre el nombramiento de los subdelegados y su idoneidad para el cargo.

The present work studies the particularities of the last corregidor of Tequila, Francisco Cárdenas, to get the appointment of the first subdelegate of this jurisdiction of the intendencia of Guadalajara at the time of the application of the Ordenanza de Intendentes in New Spain in 1786. The above on the basis of having been released without any charges in the residency trial thatwas carried out, but above all based on the royal decree of the king, which indicated that preference be given to those who had had "good performance" and “accredited conduct”.
