Resumen de Huellas de una Obsesión: Roberto Juarroz y las Ideas de Vanguardia

La relación de los poetas latinoamericanos del siglo XX con las vanguardias europeas, es un asunto que no deja de despertar curiosidad entre la crítica. En tal sentido, con este artículo propongo analizar la correspondencia de Roberto Juarroz (1925-1995) con algunas ideas provenientes del creacionismo y del surrealismo. Es pertinente señalar que lejos de resolver la posible influencia de las vanguardias en la poesía de Juarroz, pretendo dejar abierta la cuestión. En consecuencia, me interesa resaltar el carácter insular, único e innovador de su pensamiento poético en el contexto de la poesía argentina de la segunda mitad del siglo XX.

The relationship of the twentieth century Latin American poets with the European avant-garde is an issue that continues arousing curiosity among the critics. In this sense, I propose to analyze the correspondence of Roberto Juarroz (1925-1995) with some ideas from creationism and surrealism. It is pertinent to note that far from solving the possible influence of the avant-garde in his poetry, I intend to leave the question open. Accordingly, I wish to emphasize the insular nature, unique and innovative of his poetic thought in the context of Argentinean poetry in the second half of the twentieth century.
