Resumen de Actitud de los usuarios ante la gestión de los residuos sólidos urbanos: el caso de Emulsa -Gijón-

Governments in the world are pressed more and more nowadays to manage completely the environmental subject. Nevertheless, it is firstly necessary to analyse the attitudes of the citizens to these problems. In accordance with this aim, we achieved such study in Gijon (Asturias, Spain). In this one, we have discovered a very important predisposition of the people to collaborate and to support certain actions of the municipal firm in works about selective retirement of waste. Besides, we have found that the more conscious citizens with the environmental problems are too ones more disposed to collaborate. Nevertheless, we have verified that workers and managers in this municipal firm are pessimistic about the citizens’ behaviour.
