Resumen de Traditions céramographiques et mobilités artisanales au « Lucanien récent »

Focusing on some late Lucanian vases attributed to the Primato Painter, considered on their formal, iconographic and stylistic aspects, this paper aims to enlighten the apulianising style of this craft production considering the ratio between tradition, reception and artisanal mobility. The analysis of contemporary vases, especially apulian ones, attributed to the Lycurgus Painter and his circle, his main inspiration, contributes to highlight the specificities of his “language” as well as his network of contacts and influences that accompanied the emerging of a workshop culture.

À partir de la production à figures rouges attribuée au Peintre du Primato, chef de file de l’un des ateliers les plus prolifiques du « Lucanien récent », cet article questionne les notions de traditions, de savoir-faire et de mobilités artisanales. La lecture de ses vases, envisagés pour leurs aspects formels, iconographique et stylistique, et la documentation des parallèles nombreux existants avec la céramique apulienne contemporaine, notamment celle du Peintre de Lycurgue, contribue à mettre en évidence la spécificité de ce langage tout en questionnant les réseaux de contacts et d’influences qui accompagnent la création de sa culture d’atelier.
