Levantamiento de suelos en la cuenca baja del río Pilón, Nuevo León, México

    Se realizó un levantamiento de suelos a nivel de semidetalle por medio de fotografías aéreas, teniendo en cuenta las relaciones de la imagen fotográfica–suelo y paisaje–suelo, que permitieron separar las unidades de suelos. Se establecieron áreas de muestreo, transectos y muestreo libre, que permitieron extrapolar las unidades de suelos al resto del área. Se separaron dos unidades mesoclimáticas, una cálida subhúmeda, representada por los órdenes Molisol y Vertisol, con un 71%, de esta unidad y el restante 29 incluye a los órdenes Entisol, Alfisol y Aridisol. La otra unidad mesoclimática, semicálida subhúmeda, incluye a los órdenes Vertisol y Molisol, con un 59.16% y el restante lo constituyen un 21.92 por los Entisoles y un 18.92 por los Aridisoles y Alfisoles.

    A soil survey was carried out at a semidetailed level by means of aerial photography and the relationships of photographic–soil and landscape–soil images. This permitted to separate the photointerpretation units. Sampling pilot areas, transect lines and free sampling were established in order to extrapolate the soil units from the work area. Two mesoclimatic units were separated, the first is the warm–subhumid, with the Mollisol and Vertisol orders, with 71% of this unit and 29% at the Entisol, Alfisol and Aridisol orders. The other unit Semiwarm–subhumid mesoclimatic, includes the Vertisol and Mollisol, with a 59.16%, the Entisol with 21.92 and 18.82 for the Aridisol and Alfisol orders.
