    Ante un mundo incierto y confuso, impactado por la pandemia del covid19 y la invasión ilegal de Ucrania por parte de Rusia, es importante analizar adecuadamente el contexto. Las grandes tendencias van más allá de la coyuntura y el corto plazo. Vienen de hace tiempo, perduran y marcarán nuestro futuro a medio plazo. La demografía, la tecnología digital, la transición energética y medioambiental, la globalización y el desplazamiento geopolítico desde el Atlántico al Indo-Pacífico son las más destacables. En cualquier caso, tanto la pandemia como la guerra en suelo europeo han impactado significativamente sobre nuestra economía con sus consecuencias políticas y sociales. La respuesta a los desafíos planteados, desde los poderes públicos y desde las sociedades, determinará el futuro y las expectativas sobre la paz mundial.

    In an uncertain and confused world, shocked by the pandemic of Covid19 and the illegal invasion of Ukraine for Russia, it is important to analyze accurately the context. Big trends are present beyond the short term. They are going from the past, are here today and will determine our future in the medium term.

    Demography, digital technologies, environment and energy transition, globalization or the geopolitical displacement from the Atlantic to the Indo-Pacific are the most remarkable ones.

    In any case, both pandemic and war in the European land have significantly impacted on our economies and with great consequences on politics and societies.

    The answer to these challenges from the governments and social agents, will determine the future and the expectations for the world peace.
