    En este artículo se hace un recorrido histórico por la Formación Profesional en España desde la antesala de la Ley General de Educación de 1970 hasta el momento actual.-- Se analiza lo que aportó la LGE en el campo de la FP, se ofrecen algunos datos sobre su situación en los años noventa, y se presenta la nueva FP que regula la Lev de Ordenación General del Sistema Educativo de 1990 con una valoración crítica v eocupada por el tratamiento que se hace del medio rural poniendo como muestra lo acontecido en una Comunidad Autónoma con características rurales como Castilla y León

    This article is a historical overview of Technical Training in Spain from the draft of the General Education Law (LGE) of 1970 to the present moment.

    The contribution of the LGE in the field of Technical Training is analysed, some data about its situation in the mineties are offered and the new Technical training regulated by the Ley de Ordenación General del Sistema of 1990 is presented with a critical assesment concerned with the tmatment of thr rural areas giring as example what has lhappened in a Autonomoons Region with rural characteristics such as Castilla y León.
