  • Before starting any open pit project, it is necessary to do an Environment Impact Assessment. This assessment must determine, describe and prevent all of the impacts derived from the project. The environment impacts must be valued to avoid their negative effects with protective and corrective actions. This article explains the way to do it and shows the typical impacts and their corrective actions.
